Landscape - Discussion Group 27 January 2019 2 – 3pm Waterloo Room, Falstaff Hotel, Addington Street, Ramsgate, CT11 9JJ Ahead of the Landscape Screening at Ramsgate Music Hall in the evening, Neil Henderson will lead a discussion group based on a text about Larry Gottheim’s film 'Fog Line' which was an early inspiration in his practice. The text will be from Scott Macdonald’s 'The Garden in the Machine: A Field Guide to Independent Films about Place, 2001. This will be a 60 minute participatory session and will provide a deeper insight to Neil's work and introduce the work of Larry Gottheim. Between 2015 - 2019 Analogue Ensemble ran a programme of artists’ experimental film and expanded cinema which took place in Ramsgate and beyond, inviting local, national and international artist filmmakers to present their work live and engage in post screening discussion with the audience. Since 2022 a series of informal screenings are taking place in a studio in Ramsgate.
