Since 2022 I've hosted open call artist/filmmaker screenings in my studio at The Argyle Centre, Ramsgate. Below are the film programmes from each of these so far. Images of each event are available on analogueensemble instagram account. There is no funding for these events, it is organised on a very low cost to myself DIY basis. The idea was to create a community of experimental artists/filmmakers in Thanet who come along show their work and engage in an informal Q&A with a supportive audience. There's a small group of friends (3) who talk about next programme ideas, act as a sounding board and put out chairs, black out the windows, manage the door and set up drinks. Between 2015 - 2019 Analogue Ensemble ran a programme of artists’ experimental film and expanded cinema which took place in Ramsgate and beyond, inviting local, national and international artist filmmakers to present their work live and engage in post screening discussion with the audience. Since 2022 a series of informal screenings are taking place in a studio in Ramsgate.
